Umm Suqeim Vets, based on Al Wasl Road in Umm Suqeim 2, needed a new WordPress website to replace or supersede their existing website at usvetcentre.com, with the new preferred domain being usvc.me. The project involved a new brand direction, including updated logos, brand guidelines, and a colour palette of dark blue, teal and bright pink.

The client did not want a simple like-for-like rebuild. The new site needed to combine ideas from three different veterinary websites: a homepage structure split between customers and referrals, a simple page/menu structure, and a strong mobile scrolling experience. There were also practical setup considerations around domain ownership, hosting, GoDaddy access, and pointing the old website to the new site from 1 September.

Standish Services was asked to build the new site in WordPress, using the supplied brand assets and guidelines, while translating the client's mix of reference websites into one coherent structure. The project also required technical handling of the domain and hosting setup, including advising whether to host through GoDaddy or point the domain to a more suitable hosting environment.

The brief set the foundation for a refreshed WordPress website with clearer navigation, a more modern mobile experience, and a structure designed around both pet owners and referral users. The domain and hosting considerations were also part of the delivery, ensuring the new site could replace the existing website cleanly when launched.
